Strawberry-Oat Crumble

Or is it a crisp? And what's the difference between the two??

Ingredients
Filling
  • 6 c chopped strawberries
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • dash of salt
Topping
  • 3/4 c Old fashioned oats
  • 8 Tbsp butter softened
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425.  Lightly grease a 2-Qt baking dish.

  2. Combine strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and salt and pour mixture into bottom of a 2 quart baking dish.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine oats, butter, flour, brown sugar, and salt with a fork. Crumble this over the strawberry mixture in the baking dish. 

  4. Bake until the crumble is brown on top and fruit is bubbly, 25 - 40 minutes.
