Add more flavor to this big fruit. The sweeter version can also be used as a fruit salad dressing.
- 1 large cantaloupe
- 1 tsp sweet curry or garam masala powder (use nutmeg or cinnamon for a sweeter, less savory soup)
- 1/4-1/2 tsp fresh ground black or white pepper
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/8-1/4 cup yogurt
- 2-3 Tbsp lemon juice
- berries, spice, or fresh mint to garnish
In blender, puree peeled and seeded cantaloupe until smooth.
Add spices, honey, yogurt, and lemon juice, and blend again briefly to mix.
Chill at least 30 minutes. Best served the same day.
Garnish with fresh mint, berries, or a dash of spice.
